One less Asian A330 to fly the NZ skies. This service marked the second 787-9 service to New Zealand by a non-NZ carrier.
It was great to welcome another Dreamliner and very fitting with the registration being B-7879. However, many spotters would've preferred a new or special Dreamliner livery such as China Southern's stunning design, just so it would match the modern, sleek look of the 787.
It was lovely to see her depart at the tail end of the golden hour.
I'm very sorry about the shaky video. I find it difficult to steady myself with 25kt wind head-on.
